🪵 What is the Old Firesteel in Tarkov?

In a world where bullets are currency and meds are worth their weight in gold, sometimes the simplest tools are the most valuable. The Old Firesteel isn’t flashy. It won’t win gunfights. But it embodies raw, unfiltered survival.

• A vintage fire starter, used to ignite fires for warmth and cooking

• Found in caches, bags, and hidden stashes throughout Tarkov’s maps

• Valuable for bartering and hideout upgrades (e.g., Generator, Water Collector)

• Represents the true survival mentality of Tarkov veterans

Unlike guns and grenades, the Firesteel is about endurance, not violence.
